Aida Victoria Nakityo-Ssebakiggye, born on August 26th, 1997, is a talented Ugandan-American AfroPop and RnB singer, songwriter, designer, and entrepreneur. Widely known as Aida Vee, she has made a remarkable mark in the music industry and beyond.

Born in Nsyambya hospital, Uganda, Aida Vee’s birth date makes her an August Virgo. Her last name, Nakityo, holds significance as it means “born after twins” in Luganda, the language of the Baganda people. Additionally, she hails from the Dog Clan, a respected lineage within the Buganda kingdom, further enriching her cultural heritage.

Aida Vee’s artistic journey began as one of the founders and lead singer of the Urbana Band, a dynamic live performing group known for their versatility across genres. Her outstanding vocal abilities and stage presence garnered recognition, and she secured multiple talent and creativity awards during her time at Vienna College Namugongo.
